QUADRO

PORSA' s aquarium system, named "Quadro" has been created in order to meet the requirements of the Customers involved in the business branch of aquarium stands and pets' displays, and specifically consists in the aluminium supporting frame for aquarium tanks, made by basic aluminium profiles for support and relating accessories, which confer to the display a simple and linear look and the best assembling simplicity. This system combines in itself high quality and high robustness standards. PORSA’s "Quadro" aquarium stands are composed by square profiles (section 25 x 25 mm) - which can be anodized or powder-coated in various colours of the "RAL" range on demand - and by cast aluminium joint-connectors, covered by shock-proof plastic material, which enable the assembling and mounting to be easy and quick. The sliding doors in the front of the aquarium stands permit the access to the aquarium tanks both for the fishes' nutrition and for the maintenance of the tanks themselves. The space at the bottom, under the tanks, is a storage closet which can be useful for storing various accessories either for the aquarium stands, for the fishes, or even for installing the filtration system. But the most important feature of our aquarium system "Quadro" is its versatility, which allows our Clientele to project custom designed aquarium stands according to their own requirements and to built user-defined racks as for the installation they need to do. The “Quadro” system’s framework made by square aluminium profiles 25x25 mm has been always maintained and represents the basis and a constant element of all the afterward up-graved systems for the branch of aquariums and pets’ shops and still remains the simplest, the most traditional and economical system by PORSA. 

ECOWAVE

After the great success on the national and international market of the aquarium display model “AQUAWAVE”, thanks to its optimized technical and design features which combine the easy and quick assembly increasing the practicality of the finished product with a smart look, Porsa Italy Srl has created a new cheaper version of this model, according to Porsa ‘s vision of a continuous updating and improvement of its products. This new economical version, named “Ecowave” has been projected for the part of Porsa’s Clientele who favours the functionality towards the stylish appearance and the image, by intervening on an “Aquawave” model’s main element relating to the outward appearance but insignificant from a functional point of view: the decorative section. The “Ecowave” system maintains the same virtues of its predecessor at a lower price, determined by the absence of the ornamental profiles. The “Ecowave” system is represented by a supporting framework based on the square profile 25x25 mm (item-no. K2100) and integrated with another square profile having a double flange (item-no. K2250) positioned in the rack’s fore horizontal profiles/crossbars for covering the junction points of the tanks’ glass panes. The door opening system is very similar to the “Aquawave” one as it has been studied to reduce at the minimum the mounting operations: the only difference is in the dimensions of the accessories of the door opening kit (item-no. K0006), as they are fit for being fixed with silicone glues on a simple flat square profile, instead of on a square profile with a special groove for the click-assembly. The door maintains its first rate design and confirms its already tested functionality: its external bottom-up swinging opening movement enables the closing to be directly on the tanks, covering the water surface; the use of the special round rubber permits the silent closing and the avoiding of the eventual spillage of water drops from the tanks. The door opening kit for the “Ecowave” system is composed by the same items as for the “Aquawave” one, which have been slightly modified to allow a correct opening of the door for this version, in detail : K0006/1 pivots (which differs from the K0007/1 as they are a unique item, fit for both left and right mounting at the same time), K0006/2 Dx – Sx couple of hinges (left and right), K0006/3 stainless steel counterweights (n. 2 pieces for a better balancing);
Just like all the previous Porsa’s aquarium systems, also the “Ecowave” version permits to build stand-alone single bays (when the displays are set out separately), or modular multiple-bay displays – which can be either independent and placed side by side, or united and set out in a continuous multiple-unit line -. 
The “Aquawave” and “Ecowave” systems share the same technical features which offer the following advantages to the operators who build aquarium constructions and other enclosures for the pet business branch: flexibility and versatility for manufacturing either single or multiple-bay displays to customized sizes which can be proper for lodging existing tanks or cages and adaptable to them; anodized or powder-coated aluminium is durable and resistant to water corrosion and rust; standard colour profiles are ready at stock (silver anodized, RAL9010 white, RAL0085 matt black and RAL9005 shiny black powder-coated), while a wide choice of colours of the RAL range are available on request; easy access to the tanks for feeding, pet selection, tank maintenance and cleaning; possibility of applying eventual display signage or ticketing lip. Besides the aquarium displays – displays for tanks with ornamental fishes, or supporting stands for aquatic plant’ tanks -, Porsa’ s systems are ideal also for building displays with reptiles, insects, invertebrates and many other small animals, such as aviary, or pets enclosures with rodents, rabbits, dogs, etc..

AQUAWAVE

PORSA’s “Aquawave” system has been created from the construction's modifications and improvements of the previous "Aquaclick" system. Thanks to this new system, the assembling of an aquarium stand is more easy and quick than ever. This aquarium stand is represented by a supporting framework based on the square profile 25x25 mm, item-no. K2100, and integrated with the square profile, item-no. A3615, which has got a groove allowing the click-assembly of the new “Aquawave” ornamental profiles. The new door profile has been studied for renewing "PORSA" aquarium stands' design, to simplify the assembly operations and to make the door opening system more functional. In the new "Aquawave" styled aquarium stand the crossbars/horizontal profiles on the upper part of each tank have been eliminated, letting space to a cm more in the rack’ s total height. As a consequence the door for the access to the aquarium tank, which has been projected with an external bottom-up swinging opening movement, will close directly on the tanks, covering the water surface. The door uses a special round rubber for two important aims: the result of a silent closing, which does not frighten the aquarium's fishes ; the avoiding of the eventual spillage of water drops from the tanks. The door opening kit has been completely revised, and has been created to reduce at the minimum the mounting operations. As for the previous versions "Aquaplus" and "Aquaclick" and “Quadro”, also “Aquawave” system permits to build stand-alone single-unit displays (when the displays are set out separately), or modular multiple-unit/bay displays – which can be either independent* and placed side by side, or united and dependent* and set out in a continuous multiple-unit line -. 
* dependent = the multiple-unit/bay display is made by two or more units/bays (single display with 2 or 3 tanks), which are sharing also the same structural vertical square profiles (fore profile item-no. A3615 / back profile item-no.K2100) and the same “Kubus” connectors besides the ornamental upright single profile K9030. Since this profile K9030 has to cover a single profile A3615, its special click-hooking is central to its section as it is proper for hooking it inside the A3615’s special groove.
